BIO
My name is Andrew Borges and I have lived and worked in the Albany and Lebanon communities nearly my whole life. I began my journey of becoming an investigator as a police cadet before working full-time as a police dispatcher and then police officer. After leaving law enforcement, I began working as a licensed private investigator specializing in criminal defense.
I am a straightforward, honest factfinder. I won’t claim to have teams of investigators stationed across the globe ready to tackle your case or try to impress you with gimmicks. I will be upfront and transparent about what I can actually do for you with my experience and training. I am a local investigator, familiar with our area and familiar with our legal system.
My formal training includes over 1,700 hours logged with the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training during my prior law enforcement career. I have specialized training in the areas of traffic crimes, impaired driving and traffic crashes. I was a member of an inter-agency crash investigation team, motor officer and standardized field-sobriety test instructor.
In addition to my training and experience in law enforcement, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
